How To: Connect An Air Blower To An Inflatable
Please watch the video on how to connect a blower to an inflatable
(See the last thumbnail image.)
Inflatable attractions such as bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and other inflatable games require a blower to stay inflated. These are known as constant air inflatables, meaning they need a continuous flow of air to maintain their shape and function properly.
We will walk through the proper steps to connect a blower to a constant air inflatable, ensuring safe and efficient setup for any event or party.
Attach the Blower(s) to the “Port” (extended air hose / blower tube).
The “Port” is generally located in the very back or on the sides of the Inflatable. Tie off any additional “Ports” by turning the material clockwise and tying the tie around the Port. Leave a little air escaping so the Inflatable will not burst. On some inflatables, there will be more ports than blowers needed.
Turn the power on. (Each blower has an On/Off switch.) While the Inflatable inflates, check to make sure air is escaping the vents or ports only slightly.
Check to make sure the Port (air hose) leading to the Blower is not twisted. Completly tighten it around the neck of the blower.
Help guide the inflatable up as needed and push on the inner tubes to help it unfold and pop up
Plug in only 1 item per dedicated 20 AMP outlet.
No GFCI outlets.
If you need more than 3 outlets, we recommend using a generator.
The set up location must be within 50 feet of the outlet you're using.
A 12-gauge extension cord can be used, as long as it is no more than 50 feet from the outlet.
Close All Velcro/Zipper compartments. These will be located at the bottom and sides of the Inflatable.
Inspect your set up and make sure there are not any safety issues before allowing riders.
